Dressed to Kill
Deva was busy with his mental occupation. His eyes were closed. Devi finished reading headlines from her favourite newspaper Manav Lok. She was aghast at the Delhi serial bombings. She intruded into Deva's mental space.
Devi: I cant understand these bombings.
Deva heard the comment and realised that it was hopless to pursue anything else except Devi's thought.
Deva: What is it that you dont understand?
Devi: Indians have had blasts at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Jaipur and Bombay and still they allow bombings to happen at Delhi?
Deva: Looks like they dont seem to care.
Devi: Did you hear what their Home minister said about the bombings?
Deva: No. Must be the usual inane stuff that he always talks.
Devi: He looks very intelligent and sophisticated..

Devi: Today idols of our son is being immersed.
Deva: Yes, I know.
Devi: It is a torture to see him being immersed in such dirty water, every year.
Deva: Why is it a torture?
Devi: It is just the thought that my son is mercilessly dumped in water,on some vague religious grounds.
Deva: There is no religion involved in dumping his idol.
Devi: The why do they dump him in water?
Deva: They want to see a new idol next year. To have something new, you need do discard the old.

Deva Devi - Introduction
We all know, from our parents, that Gods keep an eye on us. They watch, day and night. Tirelesssly. Devi, is the Goddess. She watches more than Deva. She is more curious and more humane. Many things that happen, on earth, she does not understand. Like all good females, she constantly questions Him and asks for explanations. He, like all good men, patiently answers her. This blog just records their conversations.
